monday plan - 24th Nov 2008

ok, so the plan goes like this... monday, those who are having meeting (EBs and Orientation night committee) will go for meeting. Then all of us, including those who are not in the meetings are gonna meet up at study area around lunch time. We'll all have lunch together and then will go to Vic's, Bryon's and my hse to get all the electronic stuff that we've collected during recycling campaign. After that we'll stick around Vic's hse to watch movie - "a walk to remember" by Mandy Moore ^^ hehe... (er... i don't think guys will be interested in watching this movie la... oh well, it's your choice la =p heheh...i have good comments bout the movie, so it's a nice movie guys =p haha) then girls (if you wan to...) are gonna stay at Vic's hse for the night ^^ as for guys...er.....erm....ar.....i dunno... xD haha.. oh well, open to discussions~! hehe

LONDON – At least someone is excited about "meh."

The expression of indifference or boredom has gained a place in the Collins English Dictionary after generating a surprising amount of enthusiasm among lexicographers.

Publisher HarperCollins announced Monday the word had been chosen from terms suggested by the public for inclusion in the dictionary's 30th anniversary edition, to be published next year.

The origins of "meh" are murky, but the term grew in popularity after being used in a 2001 episode of "The Simpsons" in which Homer suggests a day trip to his children Bart and Lisa.

"They both just reply 'meh' and keep watching TV," said Cormac McKeown, head of content at Collins Dictionaries.

The dictionary defines "meh" as an expression of indifference or boredom, or an adjective meaning mediocre or boring. Examples given by the dictionary include "the Canadian election was so meh."

The dictionary's compilers said the word originated in North America, spread through the Internet and was now entering British spoken English.

"This is a new interjection from the U.S. that seems to have inveigled its way into common speech over here," McKeown said. "Internet forums and e-mail are playing a big part in formalizing the spellings of vocal interjections like these. A couple of other examples would be 'hmm' and 'heh.'

"Meh" was selected by Collins after it asked people to submit words they use in conversation that are not in the dictionary. Other suggestions included jargonaut, a fan of jargon; frenemy, an enemy disguised as a friend; and huggles, a hybrid of hugs and snuggles.

Anywho, i went to eat steamboat with my dad saturday night in Asia City.
It was good!!

You don't actually have to go in a big group because they have mini steamboat for 1 person.
There's a few types of soup available:
Tom Yam(its good)
Chicken(not genuine chicken taste)
There's another 1 forgot.

Well, basically they charge you for each plate you take.
Those plates are coloured.
For eg: red and green is 6 bucks.
white is 1 buck and etc.

They have the 1+1 offer meaning when you take 20 plates of the most expensive plates they have which is 6 bucks each, they only charged you for 10 plates.
That's not an example, that's the condition, 20 plates.
If you take 6 plates, then offer is not applicable.

It seems expensive to me. LOL.

But for big groups, its recommended to go Putera.
30 bucks per person, all you can eat!!

Oh! FYI don't ever order American Brownie from Secret Recipe,
taste horrible. in my opinion. hehe

I'll recommend Brownies Walnut and make sure they give you the right one.
I don't know why they can mix up American Brownie and Brownies Walnut,
its 2 different things because American Brownie has a darker chocolate covering it and they do not, i repeat, DO NOT have walnuts in it.


Whenever you wanna get a haircut and you already have a vague idea how you want it to be,
tell them.
Because if not, you'll turn out like me.

Go to a saloon that you actually feel comfortable in.

Don't be intimidated by them, do you want to have a terrible haircut?
If you have the magazine that has your ideal haircut, bring it along.

You might wanna go to a saloon where there is no communication barrier.
Seriously, i had no clue what was the guy talking about when he wanted to cut my hair.
I was staring at his eyelined eyes. haha.
Good luck to those whose taking Physics!!!

And for the non-physics, don't try to cram everything in 1 go.
Try not to do last minute studying!! hehe.

HSM3
I doubt guys would like this movie. It's not a sissy movie.
It's a high school MUSICAL.
It's definitely better than HSM2, way better.


House Bunnyagain, the amount of estrogen in this movie is too much for the guys to handle.

The InvasionDon't bother watching, it's crap.
Unless you're into the whole sci-fi thing.


Death RaceIt's cool!
Some may find it boring and i still don't see why.
Watching it gives me that adrenaline rush.
